One point we are in wonder of is that were these allegations in any way true we would like to know why this 'individual' did not contact the SSPCA on welfare grounds??
The SSPCA have visited and viewed our premises on many occasions over the years and through our work and reputation for the care we give each animal the SSPCA have come to recommend Cupar CATS on an almost daily basis to people looking to adopt or re-home a cat/ kitten, which we can only assume means that we meet with their standards of care.
Care which not only extends to the duration in which the cat/ kitten is in our care but also for the lifetime of the cat/kitten as we seek to learn about our former residents in their new homes.
As stated previously, we welcome anyone to visit Cupar CATS and see first hand the dedication, care and hard work the staff and volunteers perform every day for Fife's cats.
We are deeply saddened by the placing of this message on our website noticeboard. This message has been placed by an individual using a fake email address removing the ability for us to ascertain the source of these fictional allegations.
We would like to assure everyone that all work performed at CATS is for the benefit of the strays, feral and unwanted cats of Fife and our reputation for our standards of care and work spreads throughout Scotland. We are a Scottish Registered Charity No SCO23313 and are accountable for our actions to OSCR.
We welcome any individual to come to our shelter and meet with staff and cats in our care to see first hand the work we perform and the cats it benefits.
We would ask the individual concerned to contact us on 01592 783732 to allow us to discuss this matter further.
